About
Why all this
I drink two or three cups a day and keep more coffee gear at home than one kitchen strictly needs. This is where the tasting notes go.
Nothing here is sponsored and no link earns anything. I buy the capsules and beans, write down what I think, and sometimes change my mind and edit the note. Prices are left out on purpose — they change too often to be worth recording.
Where the notes come from
Through the summer of 2026 a paper notebook sat next to the machine: date, what went in, water temperature when I controlled it, and a few words on the cup. In September I started moving them here so they'd survive the notebook. The first posts are those, cleaned up; new ones get written as I drink them.
What "good" means
I'm not a professional and don't claim the taster's vocabulary. The scoring page explains the four things I pay attention to and the simple 1–5 scale, so a "4" in one note means the same as a "4" in another.
